Intermediate. You should be comfortable with basic crochet stitches and reading a pattern. The stitches themselves aren't advanced — what makes this intermediate is the shaping, the made-to-measure fit, and the judgment calls you'll make about your own body.

Sequin yarn, a 2.5 mm hook and a 3 mm hook, stitch markers, small sharp scissors, and a measuring tape. I use Fuzzy Room Fashion sequin cotton yarn on Etsy — Any sequin yarn will work, just know that a different yarn will change your stitch counts and how the fabric drapes, which is fine since the pattern is made to measure anyway.

There's no size chart. Instead of following fixed stitch counts, you take a few measurements and try the dress on as you go — your body decides when each section is finished. Every number in the pattern is my own example, not a requirement. It means the dress fits you specifically rather than a size.
